Diwali is the "Festival of Lights". This is the greatest occasion nationwide. People of all caste and creeds celebrate Diwali most zealously across the country. This festival brings about light of joy, lights and rejuvenation. Students at SCS participate in "Rangoli" making competition. Students decorate their classes, the school scene is a "feast to eyes". Students make colourful cards, posters and write slogans. There are different competitions held for different classes like Diya Making, Candle Making & Candle Decoration, Glass Painting. Interhouse rangoli making competition is the pick of the day. St. Carmel School has always fostered sensitivity and awareness for environment in her students. St. Carmel inspires students to celebrate "Green Diwali, Clean Diwali". Students learn subtler ways to celebrate this festival of joy, forgiveness and sharing.
