A teacher is a compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge and wisdom in the pupils. Teachers are the torch bearers of the nation. 5th September is observed as teacher's day nationwide. It is a tribute to a great teacher who rose to the stature of the president of the country "Radhakrishnan". A special morning assembly dedicated to great teachers in the history of India and world is held. A beautiful and memorable role play about one of greatest teachers Miss. Anne Sullivan was presented who transformed the life of deaf and dumb girl Helen. Students present titles to teachers as a token of love and respect. Senior students dress up teachers and carry their aura to the classrooms. They go and try to teach students as per the time-table of the respective teachers. A colourful programme dedicated to teachers is presented.
